5 Things You See on a Mainer’s Facebook
We don't guarantee you will see all these things on a Mainer's Facebook, but it's likely you will see at least one!
- 1
Snow
Everyone knows Maine gets a lot of snow in the winters normally, but we still feel the need to share photos of us shoveling, snowblowing, diving into it, building snowmen, skiing, you name it. If it has to do with snow, you will see it on a Mainer's Facebook.

Their Vehicle
Whether you have a new whip with flashy rims or a rust bucket passed down to you through family, I bet it's somewhere on your Facebook. Lots of Facebookers share photos of their vehicles, but not like us Mainers!

Tons of Cousins
If the 'Relationship' section is a list of first second and third cousins, it's probably a Mainer. Especially as you head north where everyone seems to be related.

Lost Livestock
People from other states often share lost dog or cat fliers, or a missing person's photo. Here in Maine you're more likely to see a shared post about a missing goat or chicken.

Beautiful Scenery
From seascapes to rocky mountains and rolling hills, Mainers love to share photos of their outdoor adventures. We also live in the most beautiful state so even our backyards can be beautiful scenery.
