The caravan is on its way to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. This amazing non-profit organization will lay wreaths at the final resting place of hundreds of American soldiers.

Wreaths Across America started in 1992 when Morrill Worcester of the Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine realized he had a surplus of wreaths at the end of the season. Remembering a boyhood trip to Arlington National Cemetery, he realized he had the chance to honor the Veterans buried there. That was the beginning of an organization that now has over 700 participating locations!

Over 25 tractor trailers left Harrington, Maine this week to deliver wreaths to Arlington and to over 800 locations around the country. What a wonderful tribute to America's heroes! Just keep the tissues handy!
