When I first saw the title 'Songs About Trucks,' a new song from new country artist, Wade Bowen, I thought this ought to be good--I love country and I love trucks. But when the song started, I realized it was really the opposite, which is okay because sometimes material things can make you feel bad too.

Wade Bowen calls Waco, Texas home. He didn't just fall off the turnip truck either, Bowen has been kicking around the country music business for a while, building a fan base regionally. But he's also made some good friends that have made it beyond their regional success: Pat Green, Jack Ingram, and the Eli Young Band.

I like Wade Bowen's style and sound. I believe his world premiere song and video release of 'Songs About Trucks' is just the ticket to launch his career nationally.

Enjoy:
