WKRP in Cincinnati Thanksgiving Turkey Drop — Funny Moment in TV History

Back in the 1970s there was a great sitcom on television called, ‘WKRP in Cincinnati.’ I came to appreciate many of the episodes even more so when I got into the crazy business of broadcasting.

One episode in particular is probably one of the most memorable moments in all television history: ‘The Turkey Drop.’ It was a Thanksgiving promotion gone awry.

Although Les Nessman (newsman for WKRP) paints the picture very well for all of us, it’s the last line spoken by the station manager, Arthur ‘Big Guy’ Carlson, that just cracks me up.
