Popular television chef, Paula Deen, has started on the comeback trail after a few rather tough months. A judge has thrown out the lawsuit against Deen citing racial discrimination, even though she admitted to using the 'N' word in the past. Her debut in her home state of Texas was met with enthusiasm and a standing ovation.

However, her emotional television plea for forgiveness on NBC's Today Show back in June is still fresh on the minds of America, and it's obvious that many have done just that. Deen's 'rough patch,' as she calls it, cost her 12.5 million dollars and untold amounts of future endorsements. But she's determined to rebuild her empire.

In the following video one man summed it up quite nicely by stating, 'America is the land od second chances.'
