Winterfest 2017 Takes Over Downtown Bangor This Weekend

Winterfest 2017 will take place in West Market Square on Saturday, and a number of downtown Bangor businesses will be hosting special activities and offering special discounts and food and drink samples.

The event begins at 10 a.m. with waffle sampling at the Charles Inn, coffee tasting at the West Market Square Artisan Coffeehouse and a snowshoe demonstration hosted by Epic Sports.

All-day events include readings at the Briar Patch bookstore and historical tours of the Charles Inn.

At noon, the cast of Lumberjacks in Love will sing songs from the production.

A cornhole competition with prizes will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Zachary Fields, juggler and entertainer, will be performing in West Market Square from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
