Winslow Police Hope Humorous Facebook Post Leads To Drug Busts

The Winslow Police Department hopes area drug dealers do themselves and police a favor by turning in their competition.

The department posted a flier on Facebook with a headline that reads "Attention Drug Dealers.” The flier goes on to ask “Is your competition costing you customers, and MONEY?”

It then displays a photo of drugs, paraphernalia, money, a gun and other items seized by police.

Below the photo the flier states "We're here to help! Please take advantage of our FREE SERVICE, by simply providing the following."

The flier then hilariously turns into a form the drug dealer is supposed to fill out, providing police with all the information needed to bust the competition.

Winslow Chief Shawn O’Leary says they got the idea from the South Portland Police Department, who posted a similar flier earlier in the week.
