Wildfire Dangers a Reality in Maine

We've already seen some destruction to land and homes due to runaway fires this spring. WABI-TV5 and CW's weather team have consistently reminded us that there is no major rainfall expected in the near future, and that the fire danger is indeed high. In fact, we are now nearing the extreme level.

It's a good idea to avoid any outside burning. Wildfires can happen so quickly causing incredible damage and even loss of life.

Southern California is no stranger to this kind of destruction. Wildfires are currently trying to be controlled by hardworking firefighters.
