With the heavy rain and flooding we had just recently, it seems a good time to remind motorists to never drive onto a flooded road. This short-sighted driver demonstrates why!

The experts will tell you to never drive into standing water on a roadway. If it's not moving, it can still be dangerous, because you don't know what's under the water. It could be a huge hole that you're driving into. Or it could be a broken piece of metal or other debris that would damage your tires. Better safe than sorry, as they say.

But in this case, this South Carolina driver drove into moving water on a roadway. That's a whole new level of idiocy. I mean, his pickup's not that heavy. And you should never underestimate the power of moving water. Check out the video and you'll see why!

For the record, no one was injured in this incident.
