Waterville Police have released a description of a man suspected in connection with an armed robbery Saturday night.

Centralmaine.com reports that police responded at around 9:30 Saturday night to a report of an armed robbery at Scotty's Pizza, 47 Water Street in Waterville. Witnesses said the man had a handgun and demanded money, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Images of the suspect were captured by security cameras but Police say they're not clear enough to warrant releasing them to the public. A search warrant was executed at a place of interest, but no arrests have been made.

The suspect is described as a young man, about 5'6", wearing jeans, a black hoodie, a ski mask, and sunglasses. Police from Winslow, Oakland, and Fairfield are helping with the investigation, along with the Maine State Police.
