Officials are asking for information about a fatal crash in Hudson over the weekend, and have identified the man who died.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old Mark Allard of Glenburn died in the accident that happened Sunday evening. A 2005 orange Chrysler 300 that was traveling on Route 221, the Hudson Road, just after 7:00 left the roadway and rolled over several times. Allard was a passenger in the car and was killed as a result of the crash. A preliminary investigation suggests that speed may have been a factor.

Officials haven't released any more information about a man and woman who were also in the car. They were taken to the hospital with injuries that were believed to be life-threatening. A fourth person, who was in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was believed to have fled, but was later located by police.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the accident and thinks they might have information pertinent to the investigation is asked to contact detectives with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office at 947-4585.
