A man wanted by police in connection with a robbery at the Unity Pharmacy has been arrested.

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reports 33-year-old Andrew Sousa was located this morning at a campsite, in a wooded area in the town of Brooks. A team of Deputies, accompanied by a Belfast Police K-9 Unit searched the area and found Sousa, who was caught after a brief foot chase. Deputies placed him under arrest and then took him to Waldo County General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Sousa is suspected to be the man who walked into Edward's Shop n' Save in Unity on April 9th, dressed in black with his face partially covered. The suspect gave a note to a clerk at the Unity Pharmacy, which is located inside the grocery store, obtained some drugs, and then fled. He was captured on surveillance video leaving the scene in a red car. Sousa has been charged with Robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
