Two people were seriously injured in an accident Thursday evening in Unity.

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened at the intersection of Route 220 and Depot Street. A vehicle driven by 35-year-old Brandi Reynolds of Unity collided with a delivery truck as she left the stop sign on Depot Street, heading south on Route 220.

Reynolds and her passenger, 56-year-old Patty Bishop of Unity, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The other driver, 73-year-old Bradley Brockway of Albion, wasn't hurt in the accident.

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
