UFO’s, Real or Not?–Anniversary of Roswell Incident [POLL] [VIDEO]

On this day in history, July 8, 1947, an unidentified flying object (UFO) reportedly crashed in the desert of Roswell, New Mexicosparking a frenzy of decades worth of speculation as to whether or not we've been visited by aliens from another world. And as believed by many, our government has done a mighty fine job of covering up the 'Roswell Incident,' and the alien craft and beings that supposedly have been found. Have we been visited by alien life?

This past weekend I watched a show that documented UFO sightings through the years--incidents that have taken place world-wide. And although undeniable evidence had not been presented, a number of the people stating their cases were people of high position and character. Why would they lie?

Having worked in aviation for a number of years, I got to the point where I could identify plenty of aircraft just by the sound, and sometimes just the silhouette. You can imagine my shock in 1985, when about 2:00am on Branch Pond in Ellsworth, Maine, when I awoke to see an aircraft fly relatively low over the pond and over the hill out of site, and it didn't make a sound. Freaky.

So I can honestly say that I saw a UFO. I'd tell you about another time on top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia Park in Bar Harbor, but it was a college party night so...
