Two-Vehicle Wreck Shuts Down Outer Hammond Street

A two-vehicle crash shut down Outer Hammond St. in Bangor for about 40 minutes Thursday morning.

The accident occurred when a woman driving a car turned onto Outer Hammond St. from Hildreth St. N and collided with a truck, witnesses told WABI-TV.

The truck, which was hauling a trailer with a lawn mower on top of it, spun around, flipped on its side and slid down the road.

The driver of the car felt bad about causing the accident and even hugged the driver of the truck, according to TV5.

No injuries were reported.
