Are most of us giving gifts for the wrong reasons? Because we're obligated? I was clicking around the internet and read a headline that said Nearly 70% would like to skip Gift-Giving this Holiday season. Seriously? Even I was out shopping over the weekend. I know, how hard is it to pick up gift cards. But the survey finds that most would like to skip the exchange of gifts among adults. So, who'll be the first husband to not get anything for his wife and cite the survey. Don't do it, guys.

I know it's about kids. And the family gatherings where you tell the stories over and over. And if you're religious it's extremely important. But I like the short list of gifts I have to buy. Gives me purpose this time of year.
