Two people were injured after a driver fell asleep while traveling on the interstate. The dramatic crash caught trees in the median on fire, as well.

Sergeant Jeffrey Clark of the Maine State Police said in a press release that 73-year-old Arthur Fawthrop of Endicott, New York was northbound on I-95 in Sherman when he fell asleep. His vehicle left the road off the passing lane, and hit a guardrail. It then continued into the median, rolled over, and came to rest in a brook. The car caught fire and that caused some trees to ignite, as well.

Fawthorp and his wife Ellen were taken to Houlton Regional Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
