Two Men Injured In Eddington Crash

Police are investigating a rollover crash in Eddington that sent two men to the hospital with minor injuries Tuesday night.

Around 9:30, police received a report that a vehicle crashed, rolled over several times and came to rest in a ditch along the side of Route 9.

WABI says police told them both men had suspended driver’s licenses and criminal records. Toxicology tests have been ordered for both men. Investigators said weather conditions were not a factor in the accident.

The men were trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by first responders. They were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor for trteatment of minor injuries.

More information on the accident is expected to be released Wednesday.
