Two Killed at Hancock County Home, Police Seek Lamoine Man

Two men have been shot to death in the Hancock County Town of Lamoine and a third man is being sought at this hour, according to Maine State Police.

Police are looking for  Leon Tilden, 27, of Lamoine who should be considered armed and dangerous.  Tilden is 5’6” tall and weighs about 125 pounds.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to call State Police in Orono at 866-2122 or call 911.  The State Police tactical team is assisting troopers and deputies from Hancock County in attempting to locate Tilden.

Detectives say the two men were killed at a home off the Mud Creek Road in Lamoine.  Police were notified of the shooting by a 911 call about 3:30 a.m.
