A Wallagrass man was hurt when he pulled out of his driveway and into the path of a pickup truck on Tuesday.

Maine State Police Sgt. Chad Fuller says 45-year-old James Clarke pulled out of his driveway on Route 11 and headed north.

Fuller says Clarke didn't see a vehicle that was traveling in the southbound lane and Clarke crossed the center line.

Clarke's vehicle was struck by a pick up truck driven by 38-year-old Jeremy Fournier of Fort Kent.

The impact sent Clarke’s vehicle into a utility pole.

Clarke was taken to Northern Maine Medical Center with minor injuries.

Fournier also suffered minor injuries but did not require a trip to the hospital.
