Many years ago I used to think that "All-You-Can-Eat" buffets were the bomb. Especially places like the old Miller's Restaurant on Main St. in Bangor. Remember?

Every time I visited that place I tried to eat more  than my money's worth, and every time I attempted it I got sick. I learned my lesson after a few times. I realized I wasn't built for such gluttony.

However, there were those that made multiple trips to the buffet with plates loaded to the hilt. I often wondered what restaurant owner's like John and the late Sonny Miller of Miller's Restaurant thought about such people. Did the over-consumers put a dent in the bottom line?

Here's what I think: If you're restaurant owner and you're worried about gluttonous patrons at your all-you-can-eat buffet, then don't have an all-you-eat-buffet.

Well, apparently one eatery manager decided that enough was enough. His bottom line started to hurt when a couple of dudes decimated his all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet.
