Police have arrested two men in connection with a spate of burglaries in Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties. The State Police worked in conjunction with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and the Bangor Police to solve the crime spree that began with a burglary on September 9th at Harvey RV's.

Eugene Horn, 37, of Bangor and Paul St. Onge, 43, of Hudson are charged with burglary and theft. Both were arrested last month and have been held at the Penobscot County Jail in lieu of bail.

Troopers began looking at the two following a burglary on September 9th at Harvey RV's on Broadway in Glenburn. As the investigation unfolded, it was discovered the two are believed to be responsible for upwards of a dozen burglaries into businesses, houses, and seasonal properties in the two counties.

The stolen items included electronics, furniture, jewelry, household appliances, guns, and trailers. Some of the property has been recovered and efforts continue to locate the remaining items.

The two used Horn's red Ford Escape with Maine license plate number 7329TN to travel to the burglary sites. Investigators say the two sold much of the property that has not been located and are asking the public to call the State Police if they suspect they may have purchased some of the stolen items or saw Horn's SUV during the summer. The State Police Orono number is 866-2122.
