Sleepwalking is a pretty scary thing. My mother told that when I was a little boy I would wander out the front door in the middle of the night to play outside in a sleepwalking state. As far as I know, I have never done it since. But sleepwalking is a pretty common thing that happens to people, sometimes with disastrous results.
