TRUCK YEAH: And The Winner Is …

Haley Harrison of Carmel enlisted the help of her many, many Facebook friends and came away with the win! Congratulations!

You can tell Haley really loves her truck. Here's what she had to say about it:

Hello! My name is Haley Harrison and this is my PINK 1998 1500 v8 extended cab Chevy. On my 17th birthday I was asked what kind of vehicle I would like. I told my father that I would take anything as long as it was a Chevrolet and nothing other than that. I preferred a truck but honestly, I'd take what I could get. A couple days before my birthday I was told I couldn't get a vehicle because my parents couldn't afford one. Although I was bummed, I understood completely. The day of my 17th birthday I was surprised by being thrown the keys to my very first vehicle. With happiness and shock in my eyes the only thing I noticed about my keys was that they had a Chevrolet bow tie symbol on them. I went outside to find my gray 1998 1500 V8 extended cab Chevrolet. Although it needed work, I absolutely loved it. My father and I discussed how my truck should look and what I wanted done to it. As we were talking I brought up painting it pink as a joke (because I had just saw a pink truck while in the car and pointed at it) and in the most serious face he turned and looked at me and smiled.
