A portion of Route 3 in Trenton was closed this morning after a vehicle took out a utility pole. Traffic should now be open to one lane of traffic.

The Hancock County Emergency Management Agency reports Route 3 in Trenton is closed between Route 230 (Oak Point Road) and Route 204 (Jordan River Road) due to a crash. According to WABI-TV, the accident involves a vehicle that took down a utility pole. There were no injuries reported in the crash located in the area of 726 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. Both lanes of traffic are expected to open by 10:00.

Emera Maine reports 1054 customers in Trenton, Bar Harbor, and Ellsworth are without power this morning because of the crash. Service is expected to be restored by 10:30.
