Traffic Backed Up Due to Accident [2nd UPDATE]

Photo, Andy Soule, Townsquare

No one was injured in a two-car crash this afternoon on Route 1A. Traffic backed up for nearly an hour while the accident was cleared.

WABI-TV reports it was around 3 p.m. when an SUV ran into the back of a minivan traveling in front of it. The impact sent the van into the guardrail. The road was closed while the scene was cleared, but police said no one was hurt.
