Traffic is reduced to one lane for a portion of Broadway today, as crews work on the road.

The affected portion of Broadway is between Stillwater Avenue and Center Street. Traffic is moving, but is reduced to one lane. Flaggers are in place, but drivers are reminded to slow down and pay attention. Anyone who is able to avoid the area would be wise to do so, to avoid getting stuck in line and having their commute delayed. This would affect anyone wishing to access St. Joseph's Hospital on the lobby side of the building, so plan to add a little extra time for appointments.

Construction is being done in several communities right now, as repairs are made to the roads that were heavily damaged over the winter. Drivers should avoid distractions, keep their eyes on the road, and be prepared to slow down and stop. Remember, fines are doubled in construction zones.
