Two people were injured when a tractor trailer slid into the side of a house in Farmington yesterday.

WCSH-TV reports the accident happened at around 6:45 on Route 4 in Farmington as temperatures started to drop and the wet road froze. Local residents told TV-6 that the curve is dangerous and that similar accidents have happened in recent years.

The tractor trailer's driver and a passenger had to climb out of the rig that was laying on its side. Both people were taken to the hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. No one in the house was hurt, but they were told to leave the house while the truck was removed.
