Trace Adkins Just Fishin’ (Video)

I'll warn you right now, this post is a shameless gushing celebration of one of my favorite artists. I love Trace Adkins! And he's on my mind today for two reasons - first, because he won "Celebrity Apprentice" over the weekend - and second, because I'm going to be seeing him in concert in New Hampshire in less than a month!

I wasn't thrilled four years ago when Piers Morgan defeated Trace on "Celebrity Apprentice," but had to admit that he deserved it. When I heard that Trace was coming back for the latest season, I was hoping he'd mop up the floor with the other celebrities...and he did! Congratulations to the artist who proves he's the whole package....looks, voice, talent, personality, and brains.

Of course, we can't forget one of my favorite qualities - heart! Trace is the father to three daughters, so I believe the emotion he shows in one of his best (in my opinion) videos, "Just Fishin'." I love the song....and love the video more! Especially since it was filmed on his family farm and the little girl is his daughter Trinity!

I'm excited to be going to the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion on June 15th to see Trace, along with one of our favorites. Jim and I fell in love with the southern rock band Blackberry Smoke a few years ago at the Springfield Fair. It's less than a month away, so in the meantime I have to make do with awesome videos like this one!
