All we've gotten of Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind" music video so far is a 22-second teaser, but we’re already feeling a little misty-eyed. The emotional song calls for an equally inspiring video, and if the clip is any indication, it’s right on track.

McGraw’s teaser features scenes of people around the world celebrating accomplishments and having emotional experiences, McGraw singing, and quotes from both McGraw and critics about the song itself. The artist dubs the tune one of his favorites he’s ever recorded, which is saying a lot, considering the length of his career thus far. Newsday called the song “universal."

The chorus of the song soars behind the images, encouraging the listener to celebrate wins and enjoy success but be sure to stay humble and kind in the process.

“Having daughters and having kids who are growing up and going out into the world that song really speaks to me. I certainly think in this day and age in the world that we live in everybody can be so cynical and so snarky and a little bit mean, I think that that song needs to be heard,” he says of the tune.

“Humble and Kind” appears on his new record Damn Country Music, and the star told Taste of Country it was tough to get through, especially after sending off his daughter Gracie to college recently.

“I cried through every take,” he admits of cutting the song. “I would try to get myself together and I’d get halfway through it and I would just start blubbering every time I tried to sing a line.”

McGraw's full "Humble and Kind" video debuts via Facebook on Thursday (Jan. 21) at 1PM ET.
