Tim Hortons Closes More Maine Locations

Two Tim Hortons locations in Maine have shut down.

WGME-TV reports the Mill Creek location in South Portland and the store at the Maine Mall have closed.

Workers say they weren't given any warning that they were going to lose their jobs.

“Well, it’s going to be rough," said former Tim Hortons employee Ruth Ridenour. "It’s hard on those who have children."

The company says its closing stores in Maine and New York but there's no word on how many Maine locations will be affected.

Tim Hortons closed six Maine stores in 2013.
