It's Throwback Thursday! This week, we're traveling back to 1986 and Willie Nelson's performance of 'Always On My Mind' at Farm Aid. Truly one of my favorites that I can't wait to hear him perform on the Bangor Waterfront. Have you signed up today to win tickets? Do it now! And check out the video to see Willie's knees!

Farm Aid began in 1985 as a concert to benefit American farmers. That first concert, organized by Willie Nelson, John Mellancamp, and Neil Young was held in Champaign, Illinois. Performers including Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, BB King, Roy Orbison, among others sang for a crowd of around 80,000 people and raised over 9 million dollars for America's family farmers.

Willie Nelson & Family will be joined by Allison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, and special guest Kacey Musgraves at the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on Thursday, June 19th. We're giving two pairs of tickets away tomorrow morning, so get your name in now to win!
