Throwback Thursday – The Muppet Christmas Carol [VIDEO]

You've heard that song "Some of My Favorite Things?" Well, the subject of this week's Throwback Thursday combines a couple of mine. I've always favored the story of Ebenezer Scrooge at Christmas...and I love the Muppets anytime! 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' is one of my holiday staples.

How can you not love this movie? Bob Crachit is played by Kermit the Frog. Ebenezer Scrooge is the amazing Michael Caine. Miss Piggy is Mrs. Crachit. And Gonzo is the narrator!

Released in 1992, It takes a serious holiday story and makes it funny and appealing to all ages. And it has the Muppets! Watch this video of the song that introduces us to Ebenezer Scrooge and enjoy the lighter side of a Christmas Carol!
