Three men are facing charges after a drug bust at a Bangor apartment house. Maine Drug Enforcement agents say this is the latest case of people from out of state coming to Maine to sell drugs.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release that an investigation into the sale of heroin and crack cocaine in the Bangor area resulted in the arrests of three men from New Haven, Connecticut.  Two separate apartments at 69 Ohio Street were searched and agents seized 7 ounces of heroin, 4 ounces of crack cocaine, over $15,000 in cash, and three guns. The street value of the seized drugs was approximately $40,000.

25-year-old Miguel Nonnosi, 30-year-old Ymmar Dockery, and 26-year-old Marquis Hines are all charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs.

MDEA Commander Peter Arno said the seizures are significant and continue the troubling trend of out-of-state drug traffickers moving into our communities in order to conduct illicit drug trafficking activities. The agency has made these types of investigations a priority and Arno says they will continue to work with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners in order to investigate and dismantle these groups who are operating in Maine.

MDEA and Bangor Police were assisted by the Attorney General's office and investigators from Homeland Security. The investigation is continuing and it is likely that more arrests will be made.
