You say 'Neck - O'.  I say 'Knee - Co'.  But it might not matter some day soon. NECCO is an acronym for New England Confectionary Company. And no matter how you pronounce it, if the current owners don't find a buyer for the Boston based company, they might go bye bye. Sad, especially if you're a fan. And because of the fact that the company has been around forever. Since 1847.

There's been a nationwide scramble to buy up NECCO wafers and Sweetheart candies. A woman in Florida offered her car as trade for a supply.  That's a fan!  Stacey on the Q106.5 Facebook Live feed commented that Tractor Supply has them.  They might not have soon. Let's hope someone steps up soon, and another childhood tradition continues.
