The Wreaths Across America Escort, headed to Arlington where wreaths will be laid on the graves of soldiers, pressed on yesterday, despite the snow and slushy roads.

Members of the Scarborough Police Department posted this video of the caravan headed through town on Monday during a significant snowstorm. Sincere thanks to the truck drivers who are transporting thousands of wreaths to Arlington, no matter what the weather. It's such an honorable enterprise, I'm sure it's amazing to be a part of it all. But, at the same time, couldn't have been a fun drive yesterday.

If you're not familiar with the organization, Wreaths Across America got its start right here in Maine, with the owner of the Worcester Wreath Company. He was amazed by the public support he got after taking some of his surplus wreaths to Arlington, and so founded the non-profit to make it an annual trek. The organization has grown over the past many years, and is currently on its 25th trip to the nation's capitol.
