The Shortest Day

I gotta hurry up and get this going.  The Shortest Day isn't the name of my latest movie. Winter arrives at 5:44 this morning. Officially.  Off the record, I'd say it's already here. We've had snow. We've had cold temperatures. Now the sun enters the sign of Capricorn. Winter solstice. The shortest day of the year. At what age did we start thinking of it as the shortest day of the year, as opposed to the longest night of the year. We're getting older. Actually the longest day of the year will be Christmas Day with your relatives.
