The Blue Angels Flew Over Maine During the Holiday Weekend [VIDEO]

I grew up going to airshows, so I'm really sorry I missed the big one in Brunswick, and the chance to see the amazing Blue Angels. But, thanks to YouTube, I can see some of it!

I'm one of those people who will plaster myself to a window if the fighter jets are flying over Bangor. See, from our offices, we have a beautiful view of the skies over Bangor and South Brewer, so I can stand there and watch a lot of their maneuvers. It's so cool!

My Dad spent some time in the Air Force during the Korean War, and his love of airplanes was passed down to my brothers and me. We grew up going to airshows and learning about the planes displayed there. Even today, I pay attention to planes flying overhead, and will google the description of a plane that I don't recognize.

So, when I heard that the Blue Angels were going to be in Brunswick, I regretted that I hadn't made plans to go down and see them. Luckily, through YouTube, I can see some of their cooler moves, like this one that has the planes breaking up in several different directions. Love it!
