Even though I enjoyed it back then, I'm so glad that I gave up smoking in 1984. Honestly, if I kept it up I know my health today would have suffered, and my piggy bank would be completely empty. I don't know how anyone can afford those tasty, addictive sticks of nicotine. And if New York City's Mayor Bloomberg has his way, even finding them will be a chore.

In a recent news release, Bloomberg is looking for legislation that will force peddlers of ciggy butts to keep them out of sight in their stores.

Will it work? Didn't he just try and fail to do away with large sugary drinks in an effort to curb rampant obesity?
