Two teenagers are facing charges after police found them outside a Youth Development Facility, in a stolen van, with BB guns.

WCSH-TV reports police were alerted early Friday morning when a staff member at the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland reported seeing the driver of a van in the parking lot with a gun. Responding officers found two teenagers in the van with BB guns that they say were meant to look like real firearms. Further investigation revealed that the van had been stolen from Bangor.

Both teens were arrested. 18-year-old Brendan Fuller is charged with Unauthorized Use of  Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespassing, and Threatening Display of a Firearm. A 17-year-old who hasn't been identified because he's a minor, was confined to the Long Creek facility on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Trespassing.

South Portland Police investigators and Long Creek staff are working together to try and determine why the teens were in the parking lot.
