Taylor Swift Leaves Whopping Tip at Pennsylvania Restaurant
What's not to love about Taylor Swift? She visits her devoted fans in children's hospitals, is committed to literacy and shows her appreciation for so many people -- including waiters.
According to Perez Hilton, the superstar songstress dined out with singing cohorts Ed Sheeran and Austin Mahone, heading to Ralph's Italian Restaurant after a dazzling Red Tour performance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Penn. on Friday night (July 19). At the restaurant, Swift demonstrated her ability to not only be super sweet -- but also tip generously.
The 'Everything Has Changed' singer paid for an $800 check and then added a whopping $500 tip onto the total. Her generosity may have been spurred on by the fact that the three each received VMA nominations -- and the 23-year-old songstress nabbed two -- which is why they are posing in a shoutout to the VMAs in the photo above.
As one of Forbes' top-earning celebrities under 30, Swift is known for her philanthropy. Just last year, she gave $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame. It's encouraging to see such a young star use her impact in positive ways and by encouraging generosity, even in something as small as tipping.
