Suspect Caught In Nobleboro Home Invasion [UPDATE]

A 19-year-old Boothbay Harbor man has been arrested for a Nobleboro Home Invasion.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reports Hunter Andrews is in custody and has admitted to attempting to steal from an elderly man. The victim told police that a young, blonde man had entered his home at around 8:00 on Monday morning, brandishing some sort of hand tool as a weapon. The homeowner confronted the man, who then fled the scene.

Investigators says a phoned-in tip led them to Andrews who confessed to the crime. He was charged with robbery and taken to the Two Bridges Regional Jail, where he will be held until his first court appearance.
