A Surry man suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Lamoine.

WABI-TV reports 26-year-old Joshuah Murray was traveling on the Buttermilk Road at around 8:00 Tuesday evening. According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Department, it appears that Murray was taveling too fast and lost control as his vehicle rounded a curve. The vehicle hit a utility pole and Murray was ejected. It then rolled onto its side and pinned the man underneath. Witnesses to the crash were able to remove the car from the man and call for help.

The accident remains under investigation.
