The State Fire Marshal's Office has released the identity of a woman who was killed in a fire at her Surry home on Sunday.

Officials say the body of 66-year-old Cathy Pinkham was found in the rubble several hours after the fire was extinguished. Damage to the home was so extensive that investigators say it's impossible to determine how it started.

Crews were called to the home at around 11:00 Sunday night. Investigators say they believe Pinkham was sleeping when fire broke out.
