A man who robbed a Bangor bank and a business over the course of two days is going to prison for nine years.

WABI-TV reports 30-year-old Seth Blewitt was in court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to robbery charges in November. The charges stemmed from a pair of robberies over Memorial Weekend last year. Blewitt robbed the TD Bank branch on Stillwater Avenue while his wife waited in the car. The very next day, he conducted an armed robbery at the Dollar Tree store just down the street from the bank.

His wife, 30-year-old Cara Blewitt, also pleaded guilty and was sentenced last month to nearly 3 years in prison for driving the getaway car. Cara had worked at a TD bank location in Connecticut before she and Seth came to Maine. They were arrested when a Bangor police officer recognized their vehicle.
