Still in High School Teen Sells App to Yahoo for $30 Million
You may remember a post a while back that showed a video of some of today's technological icons (Gates, Zuckerberg, etc.) sharing wisdom about the 'Superpower Skill' they say should be taught to young people within our school systems: Coding/Programming.
Well, it seems that one 17 year-old in London has learned the skill of computer codes and programming starting at the age of 12. His skills eventually helped him create an App titled 'Summly' that quickly summarizes large amounts of text. It caught the attention of technology giant, Yahoo, who summarily purchased it for $30 million.
