State Police Join Search For Missing Franklin Man

State police are searching for a Franklin man who was last seen in February.

Russell Burnett, 48, was last seen walking near his home on Eastbrook Road during the morning hours of Feb. 21.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Warden Service have been searching for Burnett since he was reported missing by a relative.

State police announced Monday they're joining the search for the man.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit and the Evidence Response Team went to Burnett’s home Monday to look for evidence.

He was believed to wearing a gray ball cap, maroon sweatshirt, a green or grey Carhartt jacket, blue jeans and brown work boots.
