State Police have cancelled a search for an elderly man from Enfield after he was found by a family member.

Original story: Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 87-year-old Frederick Leighton was last seen at a gas station in Lincoln at around 7 o'clock Monday morning, driving his pickup truck. The 2001 GMC Sonoma pickup is dark blue, with license plate number 655926, and has a damaged tailgate.

Leighton is described as 5'10" tall, weighing 145 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. Police have been told that he appeared confused this morning. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the State Police Dispatch Center in Bangor at (207) 973-3700.
