A fun evening of food, raffles, music, and auction items will help fund a program through Families United that offers outpatient addiction recovery services.

Families United is a small non-profit organization based out of Machias, with offices in Bangor and Caribou, that primarily works with children and families in the home. But they've expanded their services to include substance abuse outpatient addiction recovery services. They've found that many people who need the treatment, particularly the counseling and support services after they've kicked their habit, can't afford the services offered.

On Saturday, a fun event is planned to help support these services. It starts with a spaghetti dinner, accompanied by music from the band Country Camo. The suggested donation for the dinner is $7.00 per adult or $20.00 per family.

There will also be raffles and a silent auction with lots of great prizes! Up for bid will be two tickets to the Waterfront Concert of your choice, $100 gift card to Diversified Inc, passes for salon services, restaurant gift cards, and much more!

The Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bangor Housing Authority Community Center on the Davis Road in Bangor. For more information, log onto the event page on Facebook.
