Slim Clark Memorial Scholarship Show Is Saturday

The 16th annual Slim Clark show will be held this Saturday, the 7th, at 7 pm, at Irving Tanning Community Center housed in the Hartland Elementary School on Elm Street in Hartland. Proceeds from this event go to a scholarship at Nokomis High School for students who will be furthering their education and majoring in the arts.

Slim was a noted wildlife artist as well as music entertainer. Hundreds of his works are prized by people everywhere. Muffler King of Newport is sponsoring this event as they have since the onset. And Q106.5 has been involved all years too, Bob Duchesne used to emcee the event in the early days.

This year features Slim's daughter Jewel Clark. Also Slim's son Wilf Clark and The Misty Mountaineers. Doors open at 6pm.  50/50 raffle and door prizes. Refreshments will be on sale. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students. For more information, call 672-4481
